What is Arcarius?
Arcarius is the first comprehensive assistant for accounting and controlling. It connects directly to bexio, completes tasks, checks relationships, and supports the entire team from day-to-day work through to the closing. Arcarius creates new ways to achieve greater efficiency, higher quality, and more enjoyment at work.
Who are our customers?
Our work focuses on fiduciaries. Most of our customers are firms in German-speaking Switzerland with several employees and bexio clients. Far more important than the team setup, however, is their mindset: our customers want to grow or handle their current workload more effectively, and they are looking for new business models to achieve this. They are open to technology, curious, and committed. Many want to help shape progress and see themselves as partners. That is why all our customers can contribute ideas and actively help shape solutions.
How is Arcarius used across a team?
In fiduciary firms, Arcarius is used by the entire team – from accounting staff and fiduciaries through to management. It handles reconciliations, resolves differences, answers questions, works through closings, prepares client meetings, and much more. Arcarius therefore solves more than one isolated problem and provides possibilities tailored to the team for working in new ways.
In SMEs, Arcarius is used mainly by internal accountants as well as CEOs and CFOs, for example for KPIs, liquidity planning, forecasts, and meeting preparation.
How does Arcarius work?
How do I connect bexio with Arcarius?
After registration, you can connect one or more companies with a single click via the official bexio API. Arcarius imports your accounting data automatically – no export, no double entry. More in our help center.
What happens with my data in bexio?
Arcarius reads your data via the bexio API, creates closings and reports, and posts corrections back – only with your approval. Arcarius has no direct write access without your confirmation.
Can Arcarius modify entries in bexio?
Only with your explicit approval. Every entry is presented clearly and can be adjusted. It is only posted to bexio when you click “Approve”. You can reverse it again through Arcarius at any time.
Can I track the costs incurred?
Yes. We provide detailed reporting that breaks down usage by client.
Do I need to be tech-savvy?
It naturally helps if you are comfortable using software. However, customers who see new software as a hurdle and had never worked with artificial intelligence before have also started with us – and after a short time, it worked very well. We support you with the implementation and use of Arcarius and offer proven workshop formats to train your entire team. The only requirement is that you should be open to trying something new.
How secure is my data?
Where is my data stored?
The security of your data is our top priority. Your accounting data is stored exclusively in Switzerland. AI processing generally takes place in Switzerland or Europe, but may also extend beyond those regions, except for annual reports.
Is Arcarius GDPR/DSG compliant?
Arcarius is compliant with the GDPR and the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG). We store accounting data in Switzerland. Individual processing steps via external AI providers may in limited cases also take place outside of Europe. The AI models are never trained with your data.
Who has access to my accounting data?
By default, only you and the people you authorise have access to your accounting data. Access is role-based and protected by encrypted data transmission and storage according to modern security standards.
Can I use Arcarius for multiple clients?
Yes. Arcarius supports an unlimited number of clients. You can add them yourself for free and manage them all centrally in your dashboard.
Is AI used?
Some processes use large language models from third-party providers. We exclusively use powerful, market-leading AI models. The storage of accounting data in our data warehouse remains exclusively in Switzerland. Individual processing steps via external AI providers may in limited cases also take place outside of Europe.
The AI models are subject to strict server-side regulation and operate within a clearly defined, narrow framework. They can only retrieve certain information and cannot make changes without your approval. The AI models are never trained with your data. More in our help center.
