How does onboarding work?

It’s simple: on our website, you create an account and buy your first credit package. Then you select one or more companies from bexio — conveniently in just a few clicks.

After that, we automatically download your general ledger, sub-ledgers, and the available receipts. This can take anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours, depending on system load and the amount of data. Once onboarding is complete, you’ll be notified by email and the platform opens automatically. You are then asked to complete the account mapping, in which you can configure the chart of accounts to your liking. After that, data is synchronised. Under notifications, you can see when the process is finished. Then you are ready to go! Account mapping only needs to be done again if your chart of accounts changes.

How long does onboarding take – and what if it gets stuck?

Onboarding usually takes between 15 minutes and a few hours, depending on system load and the amount of data. For very large companies (many years, very high transaction volumes) it can take correspondingly longer. Once onboarding is complete, you’ll be notified by email.

If onboarding gets stuck, it’s usually due to missing data or permissions in bexio. In that case Arcarius can’t load everything – we’ll reach out to you so we can solve it together. You can also contact us via support anytime.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing follows a simple principle: you only pay for real results.

That’s why we cover all onboarding costs. The credits you purchase during onboarding are credited to your account 1:1 — no deductions.

Can I add further companies and users in the app?

Yes! You can add further companies and users in the app for free anytime.

You invite members centrally under Settings → Organization → Members and assign them to companies under Assignments. Details: Manage members & assignments.

New companies are created by onboarding admins (or higher): go to the company overview where you see all your companies and add a new one there via “+”. For who has which role, see Organization, teams & roles.

Currently, Arcarius supports sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations that prepare their financial statements in CHF in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations.
