Assign a scheduled task to a Project

Use a Project’s files and Memory in future scheduled task runs.

Assign a scheduled task to a Project when new runs should use that Project’s files and Memory.

The assignment applies only to future runs. Runs that have already finished retain their previous context.

Create a scheduled task within a Project

  1. Open Projects and select the relevant Project.
  2. Open Scheduled tasks.
  3. Select New scheduled task.
  4. Set the task and schedule.
  5. Review the proposal and confirm the scheduled task.

Alternatively, select an active Project in the Project field when creating or editing a scheduled task.

You need permission to manage scheduled tasks. Archived Projects cannot be selected for a new assignment.

What context does the scheduled task use?

For a new run, Arcarius considers:

  • the scheduled task’s definition and schedule;
  • processed Project files;
  • Project Memory;
  • relevant Company Memory, where Memory is enabled;
  • instructions for the organization, company, and user running the task.

Change the Project assignment

You can move a scheduled task to another active Project or remove its Project assignment.

  • After a move, new runs use the new Project’s Knowledge and Memory.
  • Without a Project assignment, new runs use the general company context.

Arcarius asks for confirmation before removing the assignment because the available context for future runs changes.

When the Project is archived

Active scheduled tasks in the Project are paused and do not continue to run. You need permission to manage scheduled tasks.

Important: Restoring the Project does not reactivate these scheduled tasks automatically. Open each scheduled task, review its Project, definition, and schedule, and then activate it deliberately.

When the Project is deleted

A Project can be permanently deleted only when no open or paused scheduled task remains assigned to it and no related run is queued, active, or waiting for required input.

Delete the relevant scheduled tasks or move them to another active Project. Completed and archived scheduled tasks are detached from the Project; their previous runs remain available.
