Connect Atlassian to Arcarius

The Atlassian integration connects Arcarius to Confluence and Jira. Arcarius can evaluate knowledge and project information together and prepare selected changes.

What Arcarius can do with Atlassian

Confluence: Search and read pages and spaces, inspect page structures and comments, create or update pages, and prepare comments.

Jira: Search issues and projects, inspect statuses and transitions, create or edit issues, change status, and add comments.

Every change to Confluence or Jira is shown to you for approval before execution. Other Atlassian products such as Compass are not part of the Arcarius integration.

Examples: “Summarize the current status of Project Phoenix from Jira and Confluence.” · “Prepare a Jira issue for this decision.”

Connection level

Atlassian can be connected personally, to a company, or to an organization. Personal and organization connections can be limited to all or selected companies.

For an organization-wide connection, use a managed Atlassian account intended for this purpose. Arcarius shows the connected Atlassian identity and site.

Connect Atlassian

1. Open Settings → Integrations → Atlassian.
2. Choose the connection level and, where applicable, the allowed companies.
3. Sign in to Atlassian, select the correct site, and approve access.
4. Arcarius verifies the account, site, and available features.

An Atlassian administrator may restrict external integrations by domain or policy. If sign-in is blocked, the Arcarius domain must be allowed in the organization’s Atlassian integration settings.

Permissions

Arcarius only sees Confluence pages and Jira projects the connected Atlassian account may access. Changes are further limited to the actions enabled in Arcarius.
