Data security: how Arcarius protects your data

Where your data is processed, how access is protected, and what happens with AI – at a glance.

Your accounting data is sensitive. Here are the key points on how Arcarius handles it. The legally binding details are in our privacy policy.

Where your data is processed

Your company and accounting data is stored in Switzerland; significant parts of the infrastructure run in the Zurich region. For AI and agent features, individual processing steps may take place outside Switzerland or Europe depending on the feature and provider:

  • Closing Classic and Reporting: AI-assisted processing is carried out in Europe.
  • One-on-One, Automations, and the Closing Agent may use globally operated AI services and technical execution environments; processing may therefore also take place outside Switzerland or Europe (in particular in the USA).
  • Rebooking uses no AI.

More on this under Use of Artificial Intelligence and in the privacy policy.

Your data is not used for AI training

We only use AI in business/API environments where your data is not used to train or improve the models.

Access and visibility

Access to a company’s data is strictly protected via roles and permissions – only members with the corresponding access see the data. Externals (client/auditor) only see the companies shared with them, with restricted rights (see Organization, teams & roles). The credentials for your accounting software (bexio/Run My Accounts) are specially protected: they are stored service-side and are never visible in the browser.

Transmission

Data transmission is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS).

Your rights

You have, among others, the right to access, rectification, deletion, and release of your data. To exercise them, contact datenschutz@arcarius.ai. How to delete your account is described under Cancellation.

Third parties

For operation, AI, payments, and communication, Arcarius uses carefully selected service providers (for example for hosting, AI models, and payment processing). The full, current list is in the privacy policy.

No one can guarantee absolute security. But we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of your data.
