Reporting: Step 3 – Layout

In the Layout phase you design the PDF that is generated at the end. On the right you see a live preview (with sample values). The options you choose apply to the financial statements and to the meeting minutes, so everything looks consistent.

The settings are split into two areas with different scopes:

Account display

These options only affect the financial statements currently open:

• Show accounts – shows or hides accounts in the balance sheet, income statement, and financial statements at the same time.
• Show account numbers – shows the account number before the account name (e.g. “1000 Bank account”). Prerequisite: account mode must be enabled beforehand in the core statement.

Company layout

The remaining layout options also apply to future financial statements of this company.

Cover page

• Show cover page
• Logo, address line, and company name on the cover page

Display

• Table of contents
• Balance sheet on one page
• Amounts without decimals
• Show positions in % (balance sheet as % of total assets/liabilities, income statement as % of gross profit)
• Period comparison – no change, absolute difference, or percentage change
• Signature position (none, on the cover page, or at the profit allocation)
• Page-number position and font family (e.g. Carlito, similar to Calibri)

Colors

• Text, heading, and table colors, PDF background, and more

Central layout for the organization

With Arcarius Plus, organization owners and organization admins can define the annual report layout centrally under Settings → Organization → Annual report layout. This layout applies to every company in the organization by default.

The organization can also allow individual companies to use their own layout:

• Without a company-specific layout, company admins see the organization layout as read-only.
• When a company-specific layout is enabled for the first time, Arcarius copies the current organization settings as its starting point.
• If the organization later disables company-specific layouts, existing company layouts remain stored. They are used again when company-specific layouts are allowed and re-enabled for that company.

This lets the organization maintain a consistent appearance without losing exceptions that were deliberately allowed.

Via Reset to layout default you can restore the layout options to their defaults any time.
