Reporting: Step 4 – Quality Checks and Finalization

Automatic checks, finalize, and download the finished financial statements.

Quality check

Before completion, Arcarius automatically checks the most important points so no stumbling blocks remain – among others:

  • Is the balance sheet balanced (assets = liabilities)?
  • Does the net income match in the balance sheet and income statement?
  • Is the profit allocation complete?
  • Does the ending balance of the cash flow statement match the cash in the balance sheet?
  • Are all required disclosures in the notes present?

Arcarius also flags possible topics such as overindebtedness (a hint, not a blocker). If differences are shown, correct them in the relevant phase and check again.

Finalize and download

If everything fits, click Finalize – Arcarius generates your final PDF. Then you download:

  • the financial statements as a PDF,
  • if applicable, the meeting minutes and the withholding-tax declaration as separate PDFs.

After completion, the phases are locked. If you still need to change something, click Edit again – the report jumps back to the quality check.

Who can finalize? Finalizing is tied to the reporting.finalize permission. Editing the phases is regular team work – only the final completion is protected.
