Closing Agent: overview and scope

Before you start your first close, you review and confirm the Closing Agent configuration (the Settings button). Without this confirmation, no run can be started. The configuration is organized into tabs:
It is separate from the settings of the classic Closing module. You can discard changes any time via Reset.
How current is the data? Your bexio data is synchronized every night. If you posted something the same day, choose Reload master data before starting – so Arcarius works with the current state. Between phases, Arcarius offers you a data refresh anyway.
Can I reopen an area? Yes – via Continue editing, as long as the phase isn’t completed yet.
Can I exclude areas? Yes. Areas that aren’t relevant to your company you exclude via Exclude area (or in bulk via Edit selection). Excluded areas appear under “Additional areas”, where you can add them back.
Can I have several closes in parallel? Yes. There is exactly one run per closing type and period; different periods or types run alongside each other. The overview groups them by status (in progress, ready for the next step, completed …).
How do I delete a run? Via the run’s menu → Delete. If an approved action is currently running, deletion is blocked until it finishes.
What does a close cost? See Use Cases & Pricing.
