Data freshness: how Arcarius keeps your data current

Arcarius pulls your accounting automatically every night – and you can reload any time, free of charge, so results reflect the latest state.

So Arcarius can give you accurate answers and analyses, it works with an up-to-date copy of your accounting. That copy is kept current automatically – and whenever new entries come in at short notice, you reload the data with a single click.

How Arcarius keeps your data current

Every night, Arcarius pulls the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and documents from your accounting (bexio or Run My Accounts) via API. The data is stored, maintained, and quality-checked in a data warehouse in Switzerland so the results are reliable. How your data is protected is described under Data security.

Reload data manually

You don’t have to wait for the nightly pull. If new entries just came in in bexio – for example right before a closing – you can trigger the pull yourself:

  • In every module you’ll find a reload button near the main action (in One-on-One, for example, top left).
  • Reloading is free of charge – no additional credits are billed.
  • Please wait for the synchronisation to finish before you continue.
